Enriching a Maine Christmas Tree Farm Experience
Snow on your toes. Red on your nose. All bundled up and ready to get your Christmas Tree…from your computer? Maine-based Piper Mountain Christmas Tree Farm wanted to grow their e-commerce business and connected with us to overhaul their website, create branded packaging and advise on their seasonal marketing efforts.
With just the Piper Mountain logo provided as a starting point, our creative agency worked to overhaul the wreath box to enhance the total customer experience. The farm is based in the Pine Tree state and that’s what inspired our creative direction: by leaning into “fresh cut from Maine,” we created a rustic, classic feel for the brand. No detail was spared, but more importantly, we worked with a local printer to keep cost in mind.
But how would one get a fresh wreath delivered to their door? A custom e-commerce website, of course! We built Piper Mountain’s website to allow customers to ship to multiple addresses. That way shoppers could do all of their holiday gifting in one session. The design of the website itself includes layered, scrapbook-like elements, and a warm, hand-crafted feel.
We then helped Piper Mountain write, design, and deploy a series of targeted marketing emails leading up to the holidays, driving traffic to both the website and their physical farm.
