Rochester, NY – 29 Design Studio is being honored for their creative work by the 2022 Hermes Creative Awards. The agency took home Gold for their logo design for Geneva Made as well as Gold for Hudson River Fruit Distributors Leave Behinds and received an Honorable Mention for their Chicken Sausage packaging for Leep Foods.
Chosen from over 6,500 entries, this international contest recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. Winners were selected from over 200 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing, branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media, and pro bono.
”I’m so proud of the alchemy our design team brings to the table,” said Director of Creative, Courtney Carroway. “The winning projects come from clients doing uniquely awesome things in New York State’s food and beverage industry. We’re thrilled our work for these fantastic initiatives was recognized.”
The Geneva Made initiative, backed by the City of Geneva, NY, and Cornell Center of Excellence, positions Geneva as the premier food/beverage industry destination. The goal is to attract companies across the nation looking for a city in which to establish their food/beverage business. The award-winning logo relates back to the city’s identity (accomplished with color), references the food/beverage industry, and includes the brand’s tagline at all times.
Leave Behinds are the print and marketing material that Hudson River Fruit Distributors leaves behind with purchasers to facilitate future sales. The overall look and feel of the documents were influenced by the farm’s story, one that began on the packaging and continued on the sales material, rustic and authentic, reminiscent of a growing family farm.
Packaging is the physical extension of a brand. 29 Design Studio works with Leep Foods to brand their products, including the Chicken Sausages named in the Honorable Mention.
