Alice Hallahan joins branding and marketing agency as art director

Rochester, New York (April 5, 2021) – 29 Design Studio, a creative agency founded in 2007, has added Alice Hallahan to its team, as the company continues to expand its regional and national reputation in food and agtech. The agency has increased employees by 250% percent in the last two years and is currently recruiting additional talent.

“We are committed to remaining a nimble boutique agency that brings high levels of service, thinking, and creativity to our clients,” says Maureen Ballatori, founder and CEO. “Yet when growth needs and extraordinary talent intersect, we are very fortunate to be able to add professionals like Alice.”

The agency’s new art director worked at Nazareth College as both a graphic designer and instructor for the last nine years. She has also lent her talents as a senior graphic designer to the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Hallahan will help clients promoting food, beverage, and agricultural products and services such as Visit Finger Lakes, Butter Meat Co., New York Apple Association, Green Cow & Friends, Candidus (Greenhouse Lighting Controls), Brewery Ardennes, and Wegmans.

Hallahan joins the agency just after its trio of first-place awards from the National Agri-Marketing Association. “I get to combine what I love to do in an industry that is very dear to my heart,” she says. “The opportunity to help food and ag companies thrive with great marketing is very exciting.”

Like most of 29 Design Studio’s team, Hallahan has roots in agriculture, having grown up on a farm. Particularly partial to horses and chickens, she and her husband are avid outdoors people. They live in Rochester with their two bunnies, Sharky and Jellybean.
