Creating a destination for grass-fed, grass-finished beef
29 Design Studio is known for working with farms to manage direct-to-consumer (D2C) opportunities, attract new target audiences, and build foundations for brand management. For the grass-fed, grass-finished beef farmers at G&T Farms in Cooperstown, NY, this meant creating a communication campaign to relaunch their retail arm, The Green Cow & Friends Butcher Shop.
Cooperstown is known for baseball and opera. Why not hot dogs and beef?
29 worked with Green Cow & Friends Butcher Shop to develop a marketing strategy, diving into the “5 C’s” of their business (client, customer, climate, competitors, and collaborators). In addition, we conducted a pricing analysis to understand the current pricing strategy for grass-fed, grass-finished beef.
We brought our strategy and creative teams together in a relaunch campaign focused on creating a butcher shop tourism destination in Cooperstown. Featuring out-of-home, social media, print advertising, signage, landing page design, and collateral, our campaign brought “Cooperstown’s Perfect Hot Dog” to life.
Our marketing work for The Green Cow & Friends won a Gold Pinnacle award in the 2022 Rochester Pinnacle Awards.
