Defying Expectations and The New Normal

When we entered January, the grass was still green. This is atypical for the Finger Lakes – our normal is a white Christmas. But we’re not the only region that saw unexpectedly moderate weather when all we really wanted to do was hibernate.

Change is the only real constant. 

We see this in Mother Nature and the ripples of what was the pandemic. We will see it in marketing tactics that have been tried and true til now, only to be buffeted by conflicts, elections, and the Olympics.

We’ve always prided ourselves on being agile. This may be put to the test in the coming year, but we’re helping our clients cultivate adaptability with strategy work and roadmaps with a multichannel approach. Instead of shouting at the crowds, we’re having close conversations with customers, and digging at the roots of issues.

With the tornado of change that is this new year, prepare your business to be resilient, bending in the wind rather than breaking.

In fact, most folks are looking for another record-breaking year under the hot, hot sun. On top of this, research suggests we will need 70 to 80 million hectares (Mha) of additional cropland by 2030.
